This is the fourth CD of the Duo composed of Shintaro Mizuno (Japan) and José Hernán Cibils (Argentina),who met through Facebook and rehearsed for the first time using Skype (despite the latency).

They did in 2012 their first Japan Tour with great success and awakening enthusiasm by the audience.

This CD included traditional Argentine tangos, works from Piazzolla, and a work by Cibils - “La Paz Anhelada" - , hence the name of the CD.

Shintaro Mizuno is a violinist from Japan. He plays classical and tango music among another genres. Shintaro began to play violin at the age of 2. He studied at the Nagoya University of Arts and at the Prague Conservatory in the Czech Republic. Then he went to Buenos Aires to study tango with Miguel Angel Bertero and Fernando Suarez Paz. Shintaro has performed in Japan with orchestra and chamber groups as a soloist. He released his first solo CD in 2012 where he plays tangos and own compositions.

José Hernán Cibils studied piano at the Conservatory J.J.Castro, from La Lucila and composition and conducting at the Catholic University, Buenos Aires. Then he continued studying conducting under Prof. Rolf Reuter at the Musikhochschule “Hanns Eisler” in Berlin, Germany, where he currently resides. He develops an extensive musical international activity as composer and plays piano with diverse groups, such as “Tango Filarmónico”, which includes three members of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
